Overview
Gucci Beauty briefed us to create an ad campaign for new makeup releases across social platforms. The work spanned campaign stills, a face-base tutorial video and still-life product imagery — all designed to read as luxury at scroll-speed.
Scope
- Art direction
- Creative direction
- Campaign stills
- Product photography
- Tutorial film
- Social-first content
Approach
Luxury that still works in a 9:16 feed.
The challenge in social-first luxury is restraint without invisibility — the work has to feel unmistakably Gucci on a stage-lit set and still hold the eye between two un-luxurious adjacent posts in a feed. We approached every frame as a portrait first, product second.

Production
Stills, motion and product in one production day.
We planned the shoot as a single content engine — stills, motion and product imagery captured against an aligned set design, so social cuts, web banners and product crops all share the same lighting and palette.

Film
A tutorial that doesn't look like a tutorial.
The face-base video was directed as cinema, not how-to. Pacing, sound design and grading were treated with the same care as the stills, so the tutorial sits inside the campaign rather than sitting next to it.

Deliverables
- Campaign stills
- Tutorial film
- Product photography
- Social-first edits
Outcome
A multi-format campaign package — stills, motion and product imagery — delivered from a single production and rolled out across Gucci Beauty's social and web channels.
